Catholic Newman Center TSU

I and my daughter recently visited my granddaughter that is attending Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri. Needless to say we had a great time. One of the highlights of the trip was attending Mass together at the Catholic Newman Center. I was amazed at the number of young people attending the Mass when it was not even yet Final Exam Week (Ha!). I met my beloved deceased wife my junior year at Purdue and we attended the Purdue Newman Center often for Mass together. Even though at the time Purdue’s attendance was about twice what Truman’s is today I believe there were more students in attendance at the Mass we attended at TSU.

Remember most of the kids are attending on student loans and don’t have a lot of money to throw into the collection basket so the Center struggles to pay the bills. They are not asking for donations simply asking for a little help from you. If you will use goodsearch.com as your search engine the TSU Newman Center will receive $.01 each time you use it. I have used the engine a couple of times and it produces good results. The $.01 sounds like a stretch doesn’t it and it may be but so far this year they have raised over $600.00 with it so it helps to pay the utilities. With a little help from your searches and others they can get their finances on firm ground.

If you are willing please go to goodsearch.com and type into the search box Catholic Newman Center TSU. Their page should come up and if you will sign up to help a counter will keep track of the money you raised with your searches. Not a bad way to help out some kids that are trying to improve themselves and society
