Lucky 666

535 cannon rounds and 2100 50 caliber machine gun rounds could not deter 666 from her pre-invasion unescorted photo run over Bougainville during WW ll. The foregoing statistics were included in the Japanese commander’s report after the battle. It is a true story and well written by Bob Drury (Author), Tom Clavin (Author)
