“Gentle Giant”

Last Sunday our Model A club took a road trip (we call them “Tours”) to Alton, Illinois to visit the life size statue of the “Gentle Giant”, Robert Wadlow. He was 8′ 11″ tall and weighed 490 lbs. He passed away at age 22 from a foot blister. Below are some photos from the Tour. Lunch was at Pere Marquette state park in Illinois. The weather was great and made the 121 mile round trip enjoyable. As far as I know all souls returned home safely and with no car problems:
