The below video shows our Model A club bringing back to life an old “Rust Bucket” that sat idle in a field for 35 years. It is a truck specifically a Model AA (double A) truck but it has the same engine all of our Model A’s have. It was purchased for $500 and was towed to our Model A Club annual Start Up Party for the members to work their magic on. It had four stuck valves which made me seriously doubt its resurrection especially it the short time span our club had allocated to start it up. I did not hear the exact time it took to get it started but I believe it was about 1/2 hour. Our club has done this every year for 25 years and have never failed to get the vehicle started. It’s called Tribal Knowledge.
