What amazes me is the speed of the kill. It is all over in seconds. There have been many confirmed sightings of mountain lions in Missouri and at least one of them on the Katy Trail which I ride occasionally. I have always heard they strike from behind which the video confirms. Although I would like to fight off the beast the quickness of the kill seems to rule it out. I guess being mountain lion food is just another way to exit this world.
