The Price of Deer
August 28, 2015Readers of this blog probably have seen some of my deer photos; we have many in our area. I admit I like to see them but there is a price to pay besides the vegetation they devour. Below is a car I saw on a trip to the library this week. The driver told me he hit the deer on Fee Fee road close to my house and it is a 40 MPH zone. Obviously there is a monetary loss but other thoughts occurred to me. What if the deer had hit the driver’s side and what if I had hit one while I rode a motorcycle for three years in the area; not fun thoughts.
