Mr. and Mrs. duck are back. Each spring they peruse the Windsor Park grounds for a good nesting place and it appears they are on the hunt today. I wonder if it’s still a buyer’s market?
The “Donald” and his mate
May 27, 2012I had a morning visit by the “Donald” and his mate after their morning dip in our pool. Makes me a little jealous; they get it all without the association fees. This place is going to the ducks.
It’s that time of the year
April 2, 2012Mr and Mrs Mallard are home shopping. I shot this image this year as our two annual neighbors select this year’s nesting location. These two seem to like our little village mainly composed of older citizens with few kids – nobody to chase them except a nutty old man with a camera. They also appreciate our swimming pool which they reserve for their early morning dips. All in all it seems to be a reasonably compatible relationship if we can just keep my next door neighbor away from his gun – he is a duck hunter.
