A friend and I attended the St Louis Auto Show yesterday and I was given a chance to drive the new Chevrolet Volt. As a result of my test drive I was interviewed by a reporter for the St Louis Post Dispatch. You can see my 15 seconds of fame by clicking the below link. I have been a Ford guy most of my life and it is not easy to give kudos to GM but the Volt is awesome. Those of you that can afford a car that starts out around $41,000 should check it out. In my brief two laps around the course it handled beautifully and was as smooth as silk. The cockpit with all of its bells and whistles will dazzle you beyond belief. Except for price the only other caveat I have is that it is not approved for towing and I need to tow a trailer now and then for my Harley and other family projects.
