Before the Model A
March 20, 2016The Model A Story
February 3, 2016Warning: This vintage movie is a bit long and probably best appreciated by old car buffs. After watching it I wanted to go out and buy one (Henry’s magic BS) even though I already own one. Have fun.
“Let’s Spend The Day In My Model A”
January 20, 20162015 Diehard
December 7, 2015Each year our Model A club has a final outing called the Diehard. Recently it has been held at Babler State Park in Missouri. Sunday December 6, 2015 was the date this year and 24 cars made their appearance at the event. Below is a photo shot of the cars while most club members were eating their lunch in one of the park’s beautiful pavilions.

Baby got new shoes
June 14, 2015The tires that came with my Model A finally got close to bald (kind of like my hairline). After 1 1/2 years of driving the A and based on its handling characteristics I don’t believe you want a blow-out while moving therefore the new “shoes”. I think the white sidewalls kind of spiff up the old gal. Below are before and after images.

June 2, 2015Last Weekend’s Start Up Party
May 22, 2015Each Spring our Model A club finds a Model A that has not run for a long time and records how long before the “swarm” can get it going. Last weekend the “volunteer” had not run for 24 years and the club got it started in 24 minutes. Not bad a minute per year. We also had a professional videographer create a video of the event.
